La grappa obtenue à partir de seuls marc de Nebbiolo provenant de petits producteurs locaux qualifiés de certains districts de la discipline Barolo. Distillé dans la pureté.

NOTES DE DÉGUSTATION
Couleur: incolore, limpide.
Nez: arôme persistant et durable avec un soupçon résineux-balsamique de pin de montagne suisse. Parfum herbacé de violette et parfum fruité de griottes.

Goût: élégant et puissant, chaud et corsé. Excellent caractère.

Grappa obteined from only Nebbiolo pomace coming from small and skilled  local producers of some districts of the Barolo disciplinary.  Distilled in purity.

TASTING NOTES

Colour: colourless, crystal-clear.
Nose: persistent, long-lasting aroma with a resinous-balsamic hint of Swiss mountain pine. Herbaceous fragrance of violets and fruity scent of morello cherries.
Taste : elegant and powerful, warm and full- bodied. Excellent character.

Our family founded this historic distillery in 1847 in Angera, on the shores of Lake Maggiore.
During these 170 years of history, 5 generations have passionately carried on this family tradition with the desire to spread the Italian culture of good drinking.

Bernardo Rossi, in the picture with his father Arturo Rossi, begins to produce the first distilled notes
1870
The first discontinuous steam boiler stills are used
1909
Arturo Rossi, nephew of Bernardo, opens the Arturo Rossi Distillery. A period of systematic grappa production begins with a very dense territorial distribution network
1915
At the outbreak of the First World War, Arturo was called to serve his country. In the company remains the wife, Annetta Zingaro, who took over the reins of the factory, thanks also to the « epistolary » help of her husband
1919
The Arturo Rossi distillery incorporates the historic Fratelli Rossi d’Angera, the company of grandfather Bernardo and his father Carlo, turning years later into Rossi d’Angera distillers
1931
The company receives the Royal Coat of Arms with the legend « Patent of the Royal House of Savoy », conferred by King Vittorio Emanuele III to Arturo Rossi, recognition of which still today few companies in Italy can boast
1960
A series of new products are presented on the market: the Spitz, aperitif based on gentian, and the Bitter, aperitif invented right in the family with a secret recipe of officinal herbs. The « Aperitivo d’Antan » ritual is born, which is still respected today in many Italian bars
1980
Years engaged in the construction of working ties with other companies and associations of the territory, as well as a large participation in the various national competitions
2011
Rossi d’Angera opens up to international markets: major changes not only from the point of view of distribution but also in the marketing, communication and packaging sectors
2014
The first Flag Store opens in the historic building of Viale Valganna 34, in Varese
