Aberfeldy distillery
Aberfeldy est une distillerie de whisky située dans la région des Highlands, en plein cœur de l’Écosse.
Le village d’Aberfeldy est situé dans les Eastern Highlands, aux environs de la ville de Perth. Cette région vallonnée au pied des Monts Grampians est toujours très campagnarde, avec de nombreux producteurs de légumes bio, mais elle attire aussi beaucoup de touristes, notamment aux alentours du Loch Tay.
Faisant preuve d’une grande fermeté, le single malt Aberfeldy est le plus puissant des malts des Midlands. Les meilleures versions laissent également percevoir une grande douceur au palais. 
Les malts d’Aberfeldy se caractérisent par leur dominante céréalière, avec un caractère puissant, et accompagnée d’un peu de miel, et parfois d’un peu de fumée. Ce single malt est parfait en digestif.

Although recently established and operational, Hunter Laing is a continuation of 60 years of experience and mastery in the Whisky.
Stewart Laing did give his middle name, Hunter, to form the name of the Company : Hunter Laing where he is joined by his sons Andrew and Scott, who brought in their own independent bottling company and its brand First Editions in Hunter Laing .

Highlands
With their landscapes, high mountains, abundant lakes and all the islands off the coast, the Highlands are one of the most varied and spectacular regions in Scotland. 
Whiskies from the Highlands are generally more sustained and stronger than those from Speyside. They have very varied tastes according to the place of production. Lightly peated and coastal flavours in the north, malty and fruity in the south.

Nose : Opens fruity – new sweet and buttery + apricot jam on warm scones .
Palate :  clean & fresh – barley sweet + more apricots now caramelised.
Finish : Remains sweet, softy spiced + creamy butterscotch + soft oak.
